Finally, one important announcement:
The winners of the inaugural car naming competition, with a last minute entry, are Matt and Megan Elder. From now on, our car will be named Jean Claude Grand Am. Thank you for all who participated. The grand prize of eternal gratitude will be awarded in 6-12 weeks.

Yay, the first commenter on the second half of the Great Adventure- there must be a prize for that, and, although I didn't win the car-naming contest, I'm not sure your prizes are adequate to insure participation in future competitions. Wonderful pictures from your trip....makes me want to hike in the snow!

Very cool pictures! Nice to see ones that weren't in your blogs. However, they went by so fast in your slideshow, I could barely see them. Maybe slow them down a bit? Your next set of pictures that will come from Argentina are going to way cool. Have fun down there!!
